Installation of the ATWA on a complying fire door and frame would
take about three hours for an MDF Group carpenter. We recommend
steel faced fire doors for added protection, which MDF Group can
also supply and install.
MDF Group can replace an old (existing) door and frame with a new
complying door and frame inclusive of new hardware with the ATWA
as the ultimate protection.
A trained specialist from MDF Group can conduct an audit and report
on current compliance as well as feasibility on the installation
of ATWA.

MDF Group can arrange for installation with
the existing fire rating to frames and the door unchanged
in approximately three hours per door. The door and frame
should be in reasonable condition with strong and well-fixed
hinges (recommend four per leaf for standard height doors).
The existing door hardware can be re-used or replaced with
new (conforming) hardware. |
