MDF Group will aim to achieve an appropriate standard of care
for the natural environment in all of the activities in which we
are
engaged,
consistent with technical and economical feasibility.
It is the policy of MDF Group that operations in the company are
carried out in compliance with the relevant statutory and regulatory
obligations,
community environmental standards and specific project requirements
with the minimum of impact on, and maximum protection of the environment.
This policy is of direct concern to all managers who are in turn
accountable to the Managing Director. It is recognised that all
employees have a major role to play in protecting the quality of
our environment and management will communicate regularly with
all employees concerning our aims and individual responsibilities.
The MDF Group is committed to encouraging and supporting
personnel responsible for the monitoring and adjustment of environmental
controls in accordance with the environmental procedures set out
by the company.
MDF Group will also identify, monitor and manage risks arising
from our work activities, seek ongoing improvement in construction
methods,
foster environmental awareness, continually review our environmental
performance against our short term and long term environmental
targets, and communicate with the community and governments about
any potential environmental impacts from our activities.
MDF Group seeks the combined efforts of all employees and sub-contractors
to ensure the effectiveness of our environmental policy.
